Lounging or Negligé Jacket
Multi-Size - 34-50 Chest
This coat was made of light woolen
material of wash goods, either of brown linen or piqué. The original
was of black reps, lined with camlet, and bordered with a row of stitching
on the outer edge.

This smoking jacket was of brown velvet,
lined with black silk and bound with blue cashmere. The collar, roll,
and pocket lapels are of blue cashmere. The smoking cap was of black
velvet and black silk.

1868 Gentlemen's Cravats
Various Sizes
These cravats are very pretty and new,
and are easily made. They are of velvet, grosgrain, striped satin,
etc. The cravats, Figs. 4-12, are buttoned to the neck of the shirt by
means of an elastic cord on the back and fastened by means of an elastic
cord or hooks and eyes. The cravats, Figs. 1-3, are finished with a
band, which is sor arranged that the cravat may be made tighter or looser at
pleasure. |

This cap is of double black silk, and is
stitched in the manner shown by the illustration, the crown in radiating
stripes and the revers in small diamonds - the revers is bound with a bias
strip of silk.
