The Bethany Dress is a traditional Palestinian wedding dress with elaborately embroidered bodice panel (called Qabbeh). The booklet includes complete color-coded cutting diagrams, traditional embellishment instructions and embroidery stitch directions, a full-size bodice embroidery design, plus updated supply resources. There are no actual pattern pieces, but because the dress is "assembled" like a quilt from straight-sided strips, it is very easy to follow the cutting diagrams and to adjust for individual sizes. |
