This corsage was made of striped wool in grayish-blue shades, with collar, cuffs and revers of velvet of the darkest tint in the stripes.  The vest was of cream-colored Surah silk in the open front.  The right front has a pointed overlapping piece fastened by four buttons, with a triangular opening at the top and a small space at the bottom in which the vest is displayed.

This blouse corsage for a young girl's afternoon dress of cashmere or veiling has a bodice, yoke, collar and cuffs of darker contrasting velvet.  The body is pleated to the yoke, but there is a tight fitting lining underneath.

This blouse was originally made of lawn and fine linen, and was trimmed with strips of muslin laid in narrow pleats all turned in one direction and edged with narrow edging.

This white Alpaca blouse was trimmed with blue satin trimming with a plain bias strip used in the middle part of the trimming.

This white Alpaca blouse waist was trimmed with a puff of lilac satin and two rows of pleated lilac satin ribbon.  The puff is finished on each side with an Alpaca fold.

This blouse waist was originally of silk, cashmere, or flannel, and ornamented with slight vines of embroidery don in silk to match and tinsel thread.  The waist has a fitted lining.  Design for embroidery included.

This shirt waist was originally made of striped washing silk.  The back is shirred and has a belt of the same material lined with canvas.

The shirt waist illustrated was of spotted cambric.  It is fitted by two side forms, and has a tucked front and a fitted back with a yoke.
