This mantilla is new and peculiar; the fronts, which are crossed, are finished by long, broad scarf ends which are fastened together by means of a bow behind, where they gather up the skirt.

The cloak illustrated is of heavy brown cloth, with a crossed Russian front and a deep shoulder collar that is braided in black and edged with mink fur, and has a storm collar top that is lined with the same fur.

Size Small

This short evening mantle was made of plaid woolen goods that has a brown ground cross-barred with gold and chenille stripes.  The hood was line with peacock blue plush, and the high standing collar was also of plush.  The mantle was lined with golden brown Surah.

The materials in this cape are black satin, heavy cream guipure lace, and black satin ribbon.  The pointed fronts are edged with jet galloon, and the shoulders are trimmed with a double row of ribbon loops headed by a jet band.

The cape illustrated was of dark blue cloth, with silk lining of the same color, and some slight braiding in black soutache.  Design for braiding included.
