#1029 1869 Corset for Girl 12-14 Yrs Nira Moore Ms. Moore used a red linen/cotton blend for body of corset and red brick linen for gores, with a red grosgrain trim. The whole corset is interlined with cotton duck for extra stiffness. She omitted the busk and cut the front piece on the fold to accommodate the embroidery, using two half-inch steel bones in place of the busk. The back is laced as usual. |
