1916 Sanger Skirt

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The skirt is a long flared skirt with an attractive overlay piece that wraps just past the side around to the back on the left side.  It is a perfect opportunity to embellish the edge of the overlay piece to emphasize the diagonal line the edge creates.

1918 Princess Blouse Jacket w/Square Collar

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The garment is unlined and features princess seams and a nautical-type square collar. Braid trim around the bottom and collar is optional. You can just hem the edge or finish it with bias binding. The jacket would look just as wonderful with an embroidery motif in place of the braid!

1919 Skirt w/Optional Side Drape

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The pattern pieces are slightly flared but the lower edge circumference of the skirt reflects the limited activity that women had in the teens. The skirt is gathered at the waist and has a left side placket opening. There are optional draped pieces to add interest at the side seams.

1920 Tunic w/Kimono Sleeve

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

This top is a great looking pull-over with two different cuff options; there is a long shaped cuff or a turned back cuff. The sleeves are kimono style and cut in one with the upper section of the top. The back of the blouse has a slightly shaped hemline that is very cute

1920's Tulip Kimono

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

Here is an exquisite vintage kimono pattern from the 1920s. The kimono is unlined and has set in sleeves (so technically it is not a kimono but it has that feeling). The shawl collar, cuffs and shaped bands at the bottom edge are in a contrasting fabric. There is roughly 6 inches of ease at the bust and the hip. It is slightly double breasted so you will need to underline if you use a sheer fabric. Any light to medium weight fabric will be fine. It is lovely out of cotton as well. Purchased frog or other closure optional.

1925 Fringe Front Dress

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The pattern only has 3 pieces and the main focus of the dress is the flattering diagonal line of the Applied Front piece (and the fringe only works to emphasize this even more.) It is a slip-over dress with an opening at the left shoulder. This is a very good style for full figures.

1925 Zig Zag Dress

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

This dres is loos fitting, sleeveless pull over dress with a rounded or V-neck line.  The shoulder seam falls forward on the front bodice just a bit with gathers instead of a bust dart.  A long tie finished the back neck edge and provides an elegant design detail.  There is also a long sleeved version.  The eight-gore skirt is where the dress really shines.  Each gore has a pointed top and creates a zigzag line at the hip where it attaches to the bodice.  It is flared, very full and moves like a dream.

1928 One-Yard Bias Cut Flapper Apron

One Size

This wonderful apron from 1928 is the answer to the question, “what can you make out of 1 yard of fabric?” It is cut on the bias and is designed to be made from a 36” square of fabric. The drape is great and it fits everyone. We played around with it and found we also liked the 2-yard reversible version. Also included is a child-sized apron pattern

1928 Bridge Jacket

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

There are only three pieces to this pattern. The sleeves are kimono in the front and raglan in the back. The scarf, cut in one with the front, ends in a lovely tie in the back. The wrong side of the fabric shows at the collar where the scarf goes over the shoulder so pick your fabric accordingly. A gusset provides ease at the underarm.

1930 Kitchenette Pajamas

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

This 1-piece pair of pajamas can be made from contrasting fabrics to really accentuate the design lines. If you want to elongate your silhouette, use one fabric for the garment. It is VERY loose fitting in the hips but the shoulders are a true fit so go by your bust measurement in choosing your size. The pajamas open in the back from the neck down to the hip line. The front neckline is a scoop neck line. Shoulder seams have one tuck on each side in the front. Cap sleeves all in one on Front and Back Waist pieces. Decorative patch pockets on front. The tie belt threads through the right back waist for a smooth and thorough closure.
