1930 Salon Trousers

Size A 33-37, Size B 39-43, Size C 45-49

GThe trousers have a wide leg that is delicately shaped and flared at the hemline.  True to the 30'[s silhouette, the fit at the hips does not have that much ease so choose your size based on your hip measurement.  There are stitched down pleats in the front.  These pleats can be released for a more relaxed fit at the hips.  The trousers have front and back yokes with button closures at the side seams.  A small belt and buckle at the back provides adjustable fit at the waist.

1931 Lily Jacket

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

This vintage pattern from 1931 is truly exceptional.  It is a waist length, unlined jacket with raglan sleeves.  The jacket has quintessentially 19030's shaped seams and piecing - yet it looks right at home in the 21st century.  The 3/4 length sleeve has a shaped hem to add even more to the timeless style of this jacket.  There are 2 views; one with a tie closure at the center front waist; and one without the ties, featuring a double breasted button closure or no closure with the jacket front draped open.

1930's Button Dress

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

Here’s your chance to use any vintage buttons you might have hanging around your sewing room. This ironically named “Button Dress” does not actually have any functioning buttons on it. All the buttons are decorative. The dress has raglan sleeves and an invisible zipper at the side. There is a decorative tie at the back neck and a tie belt that can tighten the fit at the waist if desired.

1930s Crossing Coat

This vintage pattern is named for the seam lines in the back which appear to be crossing each other. This unlined coat can be made with or without a collar. It drapes open in the front but you could always add a frog or hook and eye if you want it to close at the center front. It is the perfect lightweight coat for an extra layer.

1931 Parisienne Coat

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The coat is unlined and has a series of shaped tucks on the sleeve that add extra panache to the elegant bell shape of the sleeve. It has a clutch closure in the front so the coat has lots of ease around the body. The shoulders and sleeves are a more true fit (so don’t downsize or it might end up being to tight for your liking.) The oversized collar can be made from contrasting fabric like perhaps a fabulous faux fur. There is an optional flounce for the bottom edge.

1931 Matinee Blouse

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

This vintage pattern from 1931 is our tribute to all the wonderful Hollywood actresses of the 1930s and to their even more wonderful wardrobes. We can imagine quite a few of them wearing this elegant blouse. The best part is that you don’t have to imagine it; you can make it! The cowl yoke is cut on the bias and can be made from a contrasting fabric. The set in sleeve has two options; long and slim, or, long and pieced with fullness gathered into a wristband. Side zipper opening. Choice of hip-length peplum or knee length tunic. 2” of ease at the waist and 4” of ease at the bust. A self fabric tie belt is optional.
