w/Coat Bodice & Adjustable Vest 42 Bust - 34 Waist This adjustable bodice for a matron is made with a coat back and shorter jacket front opening on a vest that is gathered to a velvet yoke. In the model, the gown was made of dark blue serge and velvet, with fawn colored bengaline for the vest and revers. The skirt is draped in a few folds on the hips and is trimmed around the bottom with nine narrow bias rolls of velvet, set on in three groups of three rows each. Pattern consists of plastron, vest, jacket and skirt. Yardage - 6 yds woll 48" wide, 1 1/2 yds bengaline 45" wide |
