37 Bust - 24 Waist

The gown illustrated was of Gendarme blue Cheviot serge, braided in white tubular braid.  The round waist opens with wide revers on a shirred vest of black and white striped silk, and was finished around the bottom with a deep black satin belt.  Design for braid included.

The gown illustrated was of smoke blue lightweight covert cloth.  It has a flaring gored skirt and a short waist with flat double box pleat trimmed with two passementerie buttons at the front, and scalloped revers with thick black silk cord and studded with passementerie appliqués.

The costume illustrated was of Gobelin blue bengaline and Gobelin blue and mahogany striped wool combined.  Pattern consists of bodice, drapery and foundation skirt.

The model illustrated is a Princesse gown of foulard, having a black ground flowered in violet, with the front opening on a plastron and petticoat of violet.  It has a separate round foundation skirt of lining silk faced at the middle of the front with the trimming silk, with a thick ruche at the foot.  Pattern consists of vest, gown and foundation skirt.
