Waist
The basque and tablier of this dress were
of royal blue plush and the draped demi-train was of moiré of the same tint.
The foundation skirt is a round skirt of walking length and is faced with
plush on the front and is bordered with a thick ruche of faille at the foot. Pattern consists of
basque, plastron, draped train and foundation skirt.
Yardage - Approx 11 1/2 yds moire 45"

This costume consists of an overdress or
polonaise of chartreuse green satin, low necked and sleeveless over a silk
skirt that has a lace tablier on the front and lace flounces on the sides
where the drapery leaves it exposed. The polonaise is trimmed with a vine of
pearl bead embroidery and epaulets of pearl beads are on the shoulders.
Pattern consists of polonaise and underskirt.

This very rich and elegant evening gown
was of emerald green velvet combined with pale pink clouded moiré. The
entire bodice, a slashed basque, was of velvet, while the velvet is
confined to the narrow tablier and the train, both of which are embroidered in
gold and green silk.

Morgen Balletto is wearing the gown made
of gold silk and gold satin brocade. Besides not using any of the
suggested ornamentation, Mr. Seymour used only the sleeve lining for the
sleeve and added a pointed band at the arm cut from the brocade. |
