Velvet Gown 38 Bust - 23 Waist
In the model, this gown was of pale yellow
silk and golden brown velvet. Velvet sash ends with fringed and
embroidered ends were added to the back of the skirt. The neck was
trimmed with a chiffon ruche, and the vest is festooned with gilt beads
caught under small yellow choux.

Velvet & Satin Evening Dress 38
Bust - 24 Waist
Emerald green velvet and cream colored
satin are the materials that were combined in this handsome evening
toilette. The part of the gown which is of velvet is made in Princesse
form, the skirt being separate. A netted tablier of dark green
chenille terminating in ball fringe is hung over the satin front. The
skirt is of cream taffeta silk and is cut with the back dragging on the
ground.

Embroidered Pink Crape Evening Dress

Pale pink crape with an embroidered border
of brier roses forming deep pointed scallops along one edge are the material
of this youthful toilette. The foundation skirt is of pink taffeta,
with two narrow Balayeuse ruffles of pinked silk at the foot. It is
trimmed around the bottom with a pink tulle pleating bordered with two rows
of satin ribbon.

Embroidered Pink Crape Evening Dress
Louis Seymour
Mr. Seymour used the bodice from this pattern for the
gown. The material is Robin's Egg blue silk, and blue & tan brocade
for the stomacher. The sleeve poufs are of ivory chiffon with a silk
foundation. Tulle, silk gardenias, pearl drop trim and ivory satin
ribbon make up the decorations.
