This jacket was originally made of turquoise blue French flannel, with a band of gold passementerie for trimming on the collar, sleeves and down the front.  The outside is shirred over a fitted lining of white French cambric.

The jacket, worn by Mary Bailey, is made from purple watered silk/cotton.  Louis decided against the bows and used dress hooks to hold the jacket closed and did not use the standing collar.

The gown illustrated with of dark green Vigogne, with revers collarette bordered with a pink band on which is an appliqué vine of green velvet.  The model has a white flannel waist lining.
