1896 Eretria Blouse Waist

Multi-Size 10-16

The full bloused front and the bishop sleeves can be shirred or smocked.  The blouse is hung on a form fitting, boned lining which closes at the center front.  The blouse itself closes at the left front.

1880-1890 Victorian Corset

Multi-Size 8-26 with B, C & D cups

The original fabric was a black satin weave cotton and was trimmed with a rough cream lace into which narrow purple ribbon was drawn.

1893 Wedding Gown Bodice

The original fabric is a heavy silk candlelight satin.  Can be worn with #PP208 skirt.

1882-1888 Bustle Wedding Gown w/Cathedral Train

Multi-Size 10-16

The bodice fastens by lacing in the front which is drawn through eyelets.  The bodices is boned and form fitting.  The sleeves are 7/8 length, the neck and sleeves are trimmed with Brussels lace.  The bustle is created with metal stays in three rows from below the center back waist to the knees.  The cathedral train is separate and is trimmed on the inside outer edge with a row of dust ruffles.

1939 Wedding Gown

The original fabric was a cream acetate satin.  The lace at the yoke, collar, cuffs and cathedral train is a deeper cream.  The closure is secured with four snaps at the left side.

1929-1931 Wedding Gown

This bright, white silk organza wedding gown is worn with a white bias cut rayon slip.  The center front of the dress is cut on the bias.  This garment is easy and fast to sew.  Pattern includes dress and slip.

Edwardian Tailored Shirt Waists

Multi-Size 10-18

This ubiquitous shirt waist can be made with a standing collar or a shirt collar.  The cuffs can be straight or turned back.  The front closure can be made with a pleat at the front or a fly front.  The shoulders are quite square.  An inverted box pleat adds interest to the back view.

1910 High Neck Blouse

This simple blouse can be made plain or fancy. It fastens in the back with buttons but we have modernized it so that it can close on the left shoulder as well. It is a good basic blouse to familiarize yourself with the Edwardian silhouette and begin your turn of the century wardrobe.
