1868 Underskirt w/Train & Bustle

Size Medium

This is an elegantly trimmed underskirt with train and bustle.  The trimming of the skirt on the under edge consists of a fluting which is stitched on with a bias fold.  Above this is arranged a row of points, trimmed with embroidered edging, and headed with edging and narrow insertion.

This skirt gives support behind the knees for tied-back style skirts of 1877-1882. It is slim in front, with netting to hold the back with a center front closure. A detachable train buttons onto the hem of the petticoat. Natural Form, does not fit over bustle.

This is the perfect hoop for under regular, round shaped skirts It has 10 hoop wires to support heavy skirts, and a bag at the hem to keep the wearer from stepping through the hoops. 126" at the hem. Center front closure. Easy to build and the correct shape for 1855-1862. .

1856 Walking Cage Crinoline

The walking cage crinoline is a mid-sized support foundation for the period of 1856-1866. Called a "cage" because of the cage-like appearance created by the hoop wires and vertical support tapes, this type of crinoline offers maximum support capabilities for a perfect shape, combined with flexibility for comfortable wear. This cage is in a domed shape, perfect for the years 1856 - 1860. We have added a cincher style belt for ease of wear.
