1878 Flannel & Merino Petticoats

Size Medium

The petticoat on the right was made of red flannel, trimmed with a gathered ruffle.  The petticoat on the left was made of blue Merino trimmed with a side pleated ruffle and Spanish lace.  Petticoats can be easily sized up or down.

1868 Underskirt w/Train & Bustle

This is an elegantly trimmed underskirt with train and bustle.  The trimming of the skirt on the under edge consists of a fluting which is stitched on with a bias fold.  Above this is arranged a row of points, trimmed with embroidered edging, and headed with edging and narrow insertion.
