Attention to
those who have purchased this pattern. I was informed that there is an
error on the overskirt pattern.
I went back to the original pattern and
found that I left off some very important symbols. On pattern piece
#1 on the left side near the top - there are 2 dots - there should be an X
midway between them. On the same side on the bottom there should be A*.
On the right side edge there is a line with only dots. Starting at the
bottom there should be X's at the following intervals - 3", 12 1/2", 20"
and 31". On pattern piece #2 on the right side between the numbers 41 and
40 blank space should read "seam" and on the side marked left side edge,
the * should read *C. I made a muslin with the corrections and
now it goes together fine. Remember that X always goes on top of the
dots. Sorry for the inconvenience. Patterns ordered after 3/22/05
will have the new corrections on them.

Turn of the Century Reception
Gown
Multi-Size 10-16
The princess cut reception gown is
deceivingly simple. The complicated construction is due to the
Valencienne lace overlay being encrusted with heavy needlework lace
below the knees, lark silk embroidery, appliqués at the waist, sleeves
and skirt and organza trim at the neck, wrist and hem. The
petticoat lining of silk taffeta is attached at the waist and back
edges. The skirt hem is finished with several rows of ruffles.
It fastens up the back with hooks and eyes. |
