1887 Flannel
Nightgown Size Medium
The nightgown illustrated was made of
striped cream colored gingham flannel. It was trimmed with frills of
the same material, which have red buttonholed scallops at the edge, and are
headed by a band with red feather stitching.

This muslin chemise is gathered to a band
at the top and has plain sleeves that overlap on the shoulders. It was
trimmed with a narrow embroidered edging.

1887 French
Full Length Chemise Size Medium
This French sacque chemise was made of
fine linen cambric. The edges of the neck and armholes are finished
with buttonholed scallops and across the front a narrow pattern of dots was
worked in thick satin stitch below the scallops.
